This course is designed to increase visual awareness and recognition of natural and planned design elements in the environment. This course is intended to expose design and non-design students to the work of various design professions and to educate regarding the design process and principles of design. The ultimate intent is to allow the understand the value of design.

The successful candidate will run some of the synchronous activities, such as Miro boards, Padlet, Polling and Mentimeter. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WINTER 2022 WORK ASSIGNMENTS: When applying for this work assignment, please be aware that the successful candidate will be required to work in accordance to the University's policies re: COVID-19, and for this specific course, can work remotely (no face-to-face requirements). Please only apply to this position if you are available during the scheduled class day(s) and time(s).
The candidate must be a graduate student in a related field and have an understanding of design as an applied process that responds to human need. Candidates must be graduate students in a design profession or have an undergraduate degree in design.
