This course teaches visual and physical characteristics of plants and their use, design theory and its application at a specific scale, and the use of plants in a wide range of applications. Candidates must be available during class hours.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
The candidate must be an MLA student or a graduate student with a BLA; have experience and skills in planting design and the utilization of design principles; have sound knowledge of plant materials; and have the ability to evaluate planting design.
