This course provides an introduction to the evolution and history of planning and its conceptual base, as well as a study of the theoretical foundations of planning. The course emphasizes the Canadian scene and Canadian planning literature. Candidates must be available during class hours.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WINTER 2022 WORK ASSIGNMENTS: When applying for this work assignment, please be aware that the successful candidate will be required to work in accordance to the University's policies re: COVID-19, and for this specific course, can work remotely (no face-to-face requirements).
The candidate must be a graduate student in a relevant field and have working knowledge of land use planning in the Canadian context.
