Preparation will include doing the readings that the students are assigned + viewing any audio or video recordings that are assigned.There may also be a need to attend or view some of the lectures (half will be done remotely and recorded). Optional: giving a guest presentation (approximately 20 -30 minutes) and leading a discussion on a topic related to the course, flowing from the GTA's own research. Hours will be allotted for preparation, the amount of hours to be worked out together when we plan the use of hours.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Background in Sociological Theory
Preferred Qualifications: 
having taken a course at undergrad or grad level focused on social movements or political sociology OR grad work (either the comprehensive exam, MRP, thesis, or dissertation) focused on social movements
