When applying for this work assignment, please be aware that this course is in a “remote” format. Candidate will be required to work during regular University instructional hours (8:30 AM to 10:00 PM EST) as required. Some of the duties of this job may include conversing with students via chat or other interactive online software, for which the candidate must have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection. With the evolving nature of the pandemic and to address health risks, public health measures may resume and with little advance notice. Duties for TA work assignments in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics MAY include other ADMINISTRATIVE duties (dept. and final exam invigilation and course evaluations, and other departmental duties specified by the Chair). Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
As per the Collective Agreement, applicant must be registered as a full-time student in the Fall 2022 semester. Enrollment in a graduate program in Mathematics and Statistics or closely related program. A strong knowledge of the course material is required.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Excellent communications skills plus familiarity with CourseLink would be an asset.
