Required Qualifications:
• As per the Collective Agreement, must be enrolled as a student in the Fall 2022 semester.
• Have completed CIS*2750 (Software Systems Development and Integration) or a similar course with a minimum grade of 75%.
• Have completed CIS*3110 (Operating Systems) or a similar course with a minimum grade of 75%.
• Proficient in using command-line C tools, particularly gcc, gdb, and valgrind.
• Have completed advanced programming courses, including system design and data structures.
• Experience in guiding students in debugging C programs, and explaining C programming concepts.
• Familiarity with the use of recent releases of all of the following operating systems: Linux, MacOS, Microsoft Windows.
• Must have excellent writing skills and be able to effectively communicate and critique student assignments in writing.
• Given the shift towards online and hybrid course structures, all teaching assistants are required to maintain an internet connection strong enough to perform the duties required of their position during the duration of their contract. Potential TAs should apply with the understanding that a need to adapt to changing teaching situations may be required within the duration of the semester.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Have completed CIS*2750 (Software Systems Development and Integration) or a similar course with a minimum grade of 80%.
• A demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and software.
