The teaching assistant will be responsible for preparing materials and overseeing the lab component of this course under the supervision of the instructor. This will include maintaining greenhouse materials, giving brief introductory lab talks, helping students conduct lab assignments, and grading their work. The TA may also be asked to help with other grading if time permits.
The candidate should have a broad background in plant propagation including seed propagation, cuttings, grafting, etc. Experience with more advanced techniques (micropropagation) would be an asset.
