This is an in-person course. You may be required to come to campus to fulfill the TA duties. The University of Guelph has vaccination and masking policies that may be altered with limited notice depending on COVID-19 circumstances and advice from government, public health authorities, and prevailing science. With the evolving nature of the pandemic, public health measures may resume with little advance notice to address the health risks. Should this occur, vaccinations will be required. Required Qualifications: 
The successful candidate will: • be a PhD candidate • have successfully completed this, or a similar course with a grade at least a B OR provide evidence of equivalent knowledge and expertise via successful research outputs • have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • have an enthusiastic and professional attitude towards teaching
Preferred Qualifications: 
Candidates meeting the required qualifications will be evaluated on the following criteria: • PhD candidate in a research area directly related to the course material • Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Teaching experience, especially with online systems for grading and providing feedback on student work and for delivery of course content and assessments. • Teaching effectiveness
