This is an introduction to the content and methods of psychology. It will cover the major areas such as neuroscience, sensation and perception, learning, cognition, motivation, human development, personality, psychopathology and its treatment, and social psychology. The University of Guelph has vaccination and masking policies that may be altered with limited notice depending on COVID-19 circumstances and advice from government, public health authorities, and prevailing science. Currently, the vaccination and masking policies are paused. With the evolving nature of the pandemic, public health measures may resume with little advance notice to address the health risks. Should this occur, vaccinations will be required. You can choose to submit proof of vaccination before your start date. Other Duties Described: 
Accurate and consistent grading of written work to be completed within 2 weeks, with constructive feedback as needed. Prompt and professional communication with instructor and students. Respond to student queries as required. Availability throughout the entirety of the work assignment, including the undergraduate final exam period.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Interpersonal and/or communication skills. Substantive knowledge of course content demonstrated by undergraduate or graduate coursework, research area, or other professional development.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Must be currently enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree program in Psychology. Practical or applied experience related to course content. Strong time management and organizational skills. Experience grading (including online grading). Providing timely and accurate evaluation of student assignments aligning with marking rubric/scheme. Assessing and providing constructive feedback on oral and/or written work.
