Applicants may be invited for an interview. Applicants are encouraged to provide contact information for at least two references as additional evidence of subject area knowledge, teaching experience, and other qualifications. Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have: • Successfully completed this course or one similar with grades of at least 70% • Successfully completed ENGG*2100 • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • An enthusiastic and professional attitude towards teaching • Works well in busy workshop environments • Primary availability required: November evenings (5-9 pm) AND weekends (Weeks 9, 10, 11) • To be eligible for this position, applicants must submit a copy of their transcript and a copy of their schedule • Applicants must check this course's schedule on webadvisor and indicate which labs/tutorials they are available to attend.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates meeting the required qualifications will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Subject matter expertise • Interpersonal and organizational skills • Proven experience in teaching or mentoring (e.g. peer helper or tutoring)
