Required Qualifications:
BA or BSC in Geography or related discipline; Enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree program in Geography or related discipline; Priority goes to students with at least one semester of GTA eligibility remaining as set out in the Department of Geography's offer of admission letter. Required to be available during assigned lab times for synchronous online activities. Must be able to attend and lead on campus tutorials throughout the semester, as specified in the course outline. Must be able to attend (in-person) on campus midterms and final exams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with introductory concepts in geomorphology; knowledge of field observations, data collection, data analyses, familiar with the workings of an ADV, and laser range finder; experience using CourseLink for class management. Familiarity with Southern Ontario landscapes and processes that dominate in the region. Field experience in stream surveying and rapid geomorphic assessments.
