Other Duties Described: 
In collaboration with the skills DVM or faculty and technicians, provide instruction and feedback relating to surgical asepsis, basic surgical technique (instruments and suturing, principles of mass biopsy, bandaging, ovariohysterectomy) and dentistry in companion animals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
DVM; having an interest in teaching, patience and a willingness to share knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Minimum of 1 year of practice or internship.

Days and Times Required: 
varies depending on schedule. Labs for these courses are not scheduled at a specific time each week. There may be weeks with 2-3 labs and others with none.

Wage Rate (per hour, per semester, per Full-load 1.0 Work Assignment): 
GTA $49.43/hr; $6,924.98/semester effective 2025/26
