Other Duties Described: 
Lecturing; Invigilate in all VETM 3460 course quizzes (4 x 1 hr) and final exam (1 x 3 hr); grading of lab assignments or exams will be at the discretion of course instructors. *** Assist in all reproductive course labs, including histology, pathology, cow palpation, mare palpation, vaginal cytology, semen evaluation, obstetrics. Lab assistance includes arriving beforehand to assist with set up, instructing students during lab time, assisting with clean up, and any other duties assigned by the lab instructor(s).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
- Enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Guelph. - DVM with significant experience in reproduction and teaching of cow and mare rectal palpation skills and ultrasound to students. - Demonstrated understanding of course content and learning objectives. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications: 
- Additional experience with semen collection and evaluation in various species and general reproductive practice would be an asset. - Prior experience as a GTA or in a teaching/mentoring role. - Familiarity with the University of Guelph’s learning management systems (e.g., CourseLink). - Experience with grading, facilitating discussions. - Knowledge of academic integrity and accessibility best practices.
