Other Duties Described: 
Organize forms for Client Communication labs: edit and photocopy forms and evaluation sheets, attendance records, coach lists, coach contact information, facilitator contact list, peer feedback forms, student marking sheets, student photos and email contact information. Prepare student videotapes for labs; prepare and mail out coach information packages, copy all material needed by coaches in Client Communication labs, copy and distribute all materials for all simulated clients. To be present at, and ensure smooth operation of, all Client Communication lab sessions. Grading of assignments and exams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
- Enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Guelph. - Background in epidemiology, public health, veterinary medicine, or a related field. - Demonstrated understanding of course content and learning objectives. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications: 
- DVM degree and previous experience in this course. - Prior experience as a GTA or in a teaching/mentoring role. - Familiarity with the University of Guelph’s learning management systems (e.g., CourseLink). - Experience with grading, facilitating discussions. - Knowledge of academic integrity and accessibility best practices.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
DVM Schedule Handbook. TAs will be required outside of lecture and lab times. Some work will take place before the end of the fall.
Period of the Work Assignment (Start Date and End Date):

GTA $49.43/hr; $6,924.98/semester effective 2025/26
