Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
• Must be enrolled as a student in Winter 2026 and able to complete in-person responsibilities. • Practical experience in exploit development, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, scanning, exploitation, network attacks, and web application security. • Familiar with virtual machines and lab environments (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox). • Hands-on experience with Kali Linux and widely used penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, and password-cracking tools. • Familiarity with the Linux command line and basic shell scripting. • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to students both verbally and in writing, with patience for those new to security.
Preferred Qualifications: 
• Solid understanding of key security domains, including cryptography, network security, application security, and malware. • Successful completion of a penetration testing course or equivalent professional training.
