Other Duties Described:
Copyediting, proofreading, and communications. Experience with digital platforms Liaising with contributors and editors. IICSI is hosting a GSA to assist in copyediting and proofreading for its open-source, peer-reviewed journal Critical Studies in Improvisation / Études critiques en improvisation. The academic journal is published twice a year. The student will communicate with contributors and assist with copyediting and proofreading according to the journal’s established guidelines and protocols, as well as attend meetings as necessary. They will work closely with the journal’s managing editor, Sam Boer, to complete editorial workflow for upcoming journal issues. Hours are flexible and the position can be carried out remotely. This position will be jointly supervised by Dr. Eric Fillion and Sam Boer.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Applicant must be enroled as a PhD student in IMPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
PHD student in IMPR and have excellent analytical and writing skills
