Required Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled as a student in Fall 2026 and able to complete in-person responsibilities as needed;
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer architecture and assembly language, hardware components, simple interfacing, and related areas;
• Have credit for CIS*2030 (Structure and Applications of Microcomputers) or a similar course;
• The ability to communicate computer science concepts to students effectively, both in written form and verbally;
• Ability to collect and process grades using Excel and Courselink;
• Ability to mark lab, homework, and quiz exercises on time;
• Ability to write and help debug assembler code;
• TAs must have a webcam and must be willing to use it when attending office hours or running labs;
• MUST be able to start assigned duties in week 1 of the course, and must be available each week of the course.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous successful TA experience supporting CIS*2030 (Structure and Applications of Microcomputers);
• Relevant work experience in areas of CIS*2030 (Structure and Applications of Microcomputers).
