• Must be available to conduct scheduled labs and office hours (as allocated by the instructor of the course) throughout the semester; • Must be available to invigilate in-class midterm and final exams; • May be required to complete departmental TA training. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
• Must be enrolled as a student in Fall 2026 and able to complete in-person responsibilities as needed; • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and able to communicate mathematical/statistical concepts on modeling and simulation to students effectively; • Ability to conduct tutorials on calculus and probability to students who do not have the necessary exposure prior to the course; • An advanced knowledge of modeling and simulation of computer systems, including simulation using spreadsheets, event scheduling algorithms, statistical models in simulation, statistical hypothesis testing, input modeling, and validation of models. This knowledge should be demonstrated by a B+ (77%) or higher performance from an undergraduate course on system modeling and simulation or research experience on a subject with extensive use of system modeling and simulation.(PLEASE DEMONSTRATE IN YOUR APPLICATION THAT YOU MEET THIS REQUIREMENT. Preferred Qualifications: 
• Previous successful TA experience supporting this course or courses similar to CIS*3130; • Demonstrated experience in program development using Python.

Days and Times Required: 
Must be available to support multiple lab sections as needed. Unless otherwise specified, all labs and lectures will be face-to-face. Must be available to complete TA duties as required until the end of the work period. See WebAdvisor for lecture/lab times.

Wage Rate (per hour, per semester, per Full-load 1.0 Work Assignment):
