Required Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a masters or doctoral degree program in Sociology or Criminology
Experience grading (including online grading).
Experience grading sociological assessments
Providing timely and accurate evaluation of student assignments aligning with marking rubric/scheme.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in gender studies.
Familiarity with the foundational texts in the sociological and feminist literature of gender violence and newer critical scholarship on contemporary social and political issues in this field.
Experience grading exams with medium and long answers.
Interpersonal and/or communication skills.
Substantive knowledge of course content demonstrated by undergraduate or graduate coursework, research area, or other professional development.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Assessing and providing constructive feedback on oral and/or written work.
Online experience (e.g., facilitation of discussions online, CourseLink moderation).
Online communication/facilitation skills; must enjoy facilitation of learning in online setting.
Experience walking students through assignment guidelines
