Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Valid driver's license. Cross-cultural competency and commitment to engaging with Indigenous Knowledge in a good way. Comfortable being outdoors in varied weather conditions and walking on rough and sometimes challenging terrain for extended periods of time. Camping experience and comfortable sleeping in a tent; the candidate must be available to attend the entire camping trip from August 31-September 6.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Proven experience working with First Nation communities, ideally in Central Ontario. Field work experience and high level of competency working in remote areas, ideally in Central Ontario. Previous teaching and/or mentorship experience. The ideal candidate will have research experience involving the weaving of Indigenous and Western Sciences, or otherwise bringing together Indigenous and Western Ways of Knowing.

Days and Times Required: 
Mandatory Overnight field trip component August 31 - September 6; Other hours in consultation with instructor.

GTA $49.43/hr; $6,924.98/semester effective 2025/26
