Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
Graduate students at the University of Guelph, eligible for employment in Unit 1 of Local 3913. The candidate must: (1) be an MLA or graduate student with a BLA; (2) be capable of handling design critiques in studio; (3) have good graphic and communication skills; (4) be well grounded in fundamental principles of design; (5) be proficient in Rhinoceros 3D and Adobe Creative Suite software, including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. By applying for this TA position, you are agreeing to be available on campus to complete all assigned duties as determined by the instructor(s), available to attend all mandatory meetings, and available until the end of the contract to invigilate and grade final exams.

Days and Times Required: 
M/W 10:00 AM - 11:20 AM and M/W 11:30 AM - 12:50 PM Applicants are responsible for checking their own course schedules to ensure there are no conflicts with the TA assignment schedule

Wage Rate (per hour, per semester, per Full-load 1.0 Work Assignment): 
GTA $49.43/hr; $6,924.98/semester effective 2025/26
