Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
• Successfully completed a similar course in robotics, autonomous systems, or state estimation and control
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
An enthusiastic and professional attitude towards teaching
Demonstrated competence in ROS 2 and Linux, Python/C++ and Git, and physics-based robot simulation using Gazebo, RViz, and Navigation2
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates meeting the required qualifications will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Subject matter expertise, including probabilistic state estimation and sensor fusion, SLAM and occupancy-grid mapping, path and motion planning, and feedback control of wheeled mobile robots
Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Teaching experience, particularly in a simulator-based or computer laboratory setting, including rubric-based marking of team submissions
Teaching effectiveness, including hands-on mechatronics or embedded robotics experience.
