The candidate will be report to Dr. Garrett. Duties will consist of grading assignments assignments in both courses; breakdown below: ************* PHYS*3130 - 35-40 hours - 8 assignments due Sept 21, 26, Oct 2, 9, Nov 2, 13, 20 & Dec 2. Midterm is Oct 16. Final exam has no date at time of posting. ************** PHYS*3400 - 25-30 hours - 5 assignments due Sept 28, Oct 14, Nov 6, 16 & Dec 2. Midterm is Oct 21. Final exam has no date at time of posting. ************** Expected turn-around time is 1 week. ************** Grader will be expected to also assist grading the midterm and final exam.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 
MSc in Physics, completion of PHYS*3130 & PHYS*3400 to a high degree of success is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Prior grading experience for upper year courses Successful completion of PHYS*7040 (Stat Phys)

Days and Times Required: 
TA will be required to meet with Professor prior to first assignment and throughout the semester as required.
Period of the Work Assignment (Start Date and End Date): 
September 8, 2026 to January 7, 2027
Wage Rate (per hour, per semester, per Full-load 1.0 Work Assignment): 
GSA-1 $49.43/hr; $6,924.98/semester effective 2025/26
