Research Opportunities
The Department of Chemistry offers many opportunities for undergraduate students to gain hands-on laboratory experience. Whether you are interested in analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, environmental, materials, or biological chemistry research, working alongside faculty members and graduate students provides a unique opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scientific challenges.
Undergraduate research helps students build confidence, strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and explore potential career paths in academia, industry, healthcare, government, and beyond. It is also an excellent way to develop meaningful mentorship connections and become part of a vibrant scientific community.
