The Ripple Effect: Honouring Our Volunteers and Changemakers
Celebrating Community Impact
The Ripple Effect is our annual celebration held every March recognizing University of Guelph students, staff, community partners, and mentors who power volunteerism on campus and in the community. This inspiring event highlights outstanding contributions, showcases award recipients, and brings our community together to honour the people whose actions create lasting impact. Join us each year to celebrate volunteerism, connection, and the changemakers who shape our campus, community, and broader society.
All awards below are presented at The Ripple Effect each March.

It is presented annually to a student who has participated in a University-organized experiential learning (EL) opportunity and, because of their experience, the student has taken initiative to contribute more significantly to their community.
