Co-op Employer Referral Program

Refer a New Employer for Your Chance to Win

For over 40 years, the University of Guelph has been a leader in delivering high-quality co-operative education. We’re proud to share that we’ve reached an exciting milestone — U of G now ranks as the 2nd largest co-op program in Ontario and 5th in Canada, with co-op work terms nearly doubling in recent years.

Our diverse network of co-op employers plays a vital role in helping students gain meaningful work experience, explore career paths, and build professional connections—all while earning their degree.

Growing Co-op Program

As our co-op offerings expand, so does our student population. To meet this growth, we are continuously seeking to connect with reputable employers across a wide range of industries. While we meet new partners through tradeshows and conferences, industry events, chambers of commerce, local businesses, and advertising, our most valuable connections often come from within our own U of G community. You know what it means to be a Gryphon and you understand the high standards we set for experiential learning. For these reasons, we are excited to launch the U of G Co-op Employer Referral Contest this November!

Win a $200 U of G Gift Card

If you know someone who might be interested in becoming a co-op employer partner, we want to hear from you. Referrals are welcome from all industries, including Business, Science, Arts, Computing and Technology, Agriculture, Engineering, and Environmental Sciences.

Help us grow our network and continue providing transformative learning experiences for our students. Provide a referral, and your name will be entered to win!
