Hemostasis

The program in Hemostasis Research involves the study of canine Immune-mediated Hemolytic Anemia focusing on platelet function, acute phase response, and RBC antigens. Other topics include characterization of canine protein C, hemostasis of chickens with fattly liver hemorrhagic syndrome, applied hemostasis method validation, effect of bovine viral diarrhea on hematopoietic tissue, effect of drugs and systemic disease on blood coagulation, and transfusion medicine.
