About
Nasim Ul Haque is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics. He teaches Marketing Strategy across both the Bachelor of Commerce and MBA programs.
Education
He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Melbourne, an MBA from the University of Oxford, and a BBA from the University of Dhaka.
Research Interests
Nasim’s research advances the understanding of how innovation is communicated on digital platforms and how consumers respond to new products and services. By leveraging advanced computational methodologies - including Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models - he analyzes large-scale datasets to uncover the signaling strategies employed by entrepreneurs and marketers. His work offers actionable insights into how digital communication shapes market perception and influences the long-term performance of new goods and services.
Awards and Honours
Nasim is an AMA-Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium Fellow (2023, 2024) and an ISMS Doctoral Consortium Fellow (2024). He is the recipient of the 2024 Best in Track Paper Award from the American Marketing Association and the PhD Best Paper Award from the University of Melbourne.
