The MPAcc program is a full-time graduate program delivered through a combination of online and in-person classes:

  • The one-year program of study runs over 3 semesters (during the Summer, Fall and Winter semesters annually). To complete the one-year program, apply for consideration to the Summer intake
  • The accelerated program runs over 2 semesters (during the Fall and Winter semesters annually). To complete the program over 8-months, apply for consideration to the Fall intake.

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission:

  • A four-year honours Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) with at least a B average (73-76%) from a recognized post-secondary institution within the last 2 years of the degree.
    • International applicants should use this guide to compare their academic credentials and determine the grade equivalency needed.
  • This program is accredited by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario). Applicants must therefore meet additional CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) admission requirements in order to be admitted to the program, as outlined in the accreditation agreement:

    • Applicants who completed a post-secondary degree from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand may request that this requirement be waived. This request will be reviewed by the graduate selection committee, who may ask for an interview and/or supplementary documentation in their consideration.

A GMAT/GRE is not required.
