As per Article 11.01(c), in situations where the University anticipates that a Work Assignment may be available for two (2) or three (3) semesters, the posting shall clearly indicate this possibility.  Please choose this option ('This Assignment Spans Multiple Semesters') when creating a posting.

However, and this is important, even if a Work Assignment is posted for multiple semesters, it is important to ensure an Offer of Appointment is made for each semester of the assignment. This allows a Seniority Point to be accrued for each semester.
