What Level of Consideration am I in?

Your Offer of Admission to your graduate program and your semester level determines your level of consideration.  Levels of consideration are:

  • Level 1: Applicants for work assignment(s) within their home Department and are still within their Job Security Period (JSP). Your JSP is the specific work assignment(s) that have been guaranteed in your Offer of Admission (i.e., your Graduate Student Guaranteed Income/Funding Form).  To be considered for fulfillment of your Secured work assignment(s), you must apply to at least one posting AND identify yourself as Level 1.
  • Level 2: Applicants for work assignments who have completed their Job Security Period and who are still within their prescribed program.
  • Level 3: Applicants for work assignment who have exceeded the prescribed program period for their program of study.

Applicants should identify on their application the LoC they will be in during the semester of the work assignment (not their current LoC).

Consult your Academic Unit if you have questions about your level of consideration.  Also see: What is a Job Security Period (JSP)?
