Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of complex systems, modeling and solving numerically different practical engineering problems. This includes electrical and electronic circuits, sensors, mechanical stress and thermal analysis. The mathematical and computational foundations of the numerical approximation and solution of scientific problems; regression and interpolation; integration and differentiation; solution of large scale systems of linear and nonlinear equations; modelling and solution with sparse equations; explicit schemes to solve ordinary differential equations; simple optimization. Taught similar courses on graduate level. Detailed knowledge of the course material or demonstrated teaching experience in this or an equivalent course.
