This course examines the principles and practices of production, culture and marketing of greenhouse flower and vegetable crops. NOTE: Should conditions change and requirements are placed on the University and its employees by public health bodies, local, provincial and federal governments, courses posted as "In-Person" may have to switch to an alternate delivery format. Other Duties Described: 
Manage course material and communications via CourseLink and emails as required. Maintain office hours (either in person or remotely) as need be. Incumbent must be available for deferred exams/marking/grading as needed beyond the appointment end date. In that case, the Sessional will be compensated in accordance with the Schedule "B" rate.

Undergraduate Degree in Biological or Plant Science
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Minimum of 5+ years work experience in a commercial or research greenhouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Minimum of 5+ years work experience in a commercial or research greenhouse environment.

Lectures: Tuesdays and Thursdays - 1:00pm to 2:20pm Labs: Thursdays - 2:30pm to 5:20pm
