Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
A brief (500 words) teaching statement that explains the applicant's teaching philosophy and experience should be included. The successful candidate will have a PhD in geology or geoscience and many years successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level as demonstrated through positive teaching evaluations.
