Degree: 
Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in areas relevant to the course demonstrating knowledge of current developments in-course content.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree: 
PhD related to field
Equivalent experience served as a curator and/or director of a provincial or regional art gallery or galleries.
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Research Experience: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in areas relevant to the course demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Fluency with multiple research methods in museology as evidenced by the authorship, design , production and staging ofexhibitions at the institutional level (managing individual exhibition budgets in the 10k – 60k range). Experience managing multiple staff, the implementation of an institutional budget with multiple sources of funding, overseeing an operating board of governors and writing institutional grants is preferred. Extensive experience researching, designing and installing exhibitions isrequired. Extensive writing of curatorial and catalogue essays is preferred. The capacity to facilitate the course through a local/regional art gallery is preferred.

Tuesdays, 8:30am – 11:30am
