This course introduces students to various aspects of theatre and performance practice and careers. Students will engage in modules covering theatre career trajectories, time management, script analysis, production timelines, critical reflection, professional development, problem solving, and evaluating performance-based experiences.

Masters related to field

BA or BFA in Theatre or an equivalent discipline.
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Ability to introduce students to contemporary theatre skills, with an understanding of current industry practices. Experience facilitating collaborative spaces and modelling commitments to equity, diversity, inclusion and care-focused processes. Ability to support students in the development of self-organization strategies

BA or BFA in Theatre or an equivalent discipline.
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level.
Research Experience: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in areas relevant to the course demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
PhD or MFA (in progress or completed) and/or a significant record of creative practice in theatre.
