1. Instructing small animal laboratories for handling and examination skills 2. Evaluating small animal handling and examination skills in an OSCE setting 3. Teaching students in an experiential setting in small animal internal medicine clinical rotations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Degree: 
DVM
DVM, Small Animal Internal Medicine (ACVIM) residency training completed.
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Prior teaching in a DVM instructional setting (laboratory and clinical) is desirable.
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
DVM or equivalent. Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. Candidate will have strong background in small animal internal medicine. Experience in teaching general and specialty clinical skills in small animals is desirable. Experience with Objective Structured Clinical Examinations is recommended.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
Days and times as per the clinical and teaching schedule. Estimated 3-4 weeks of clinical work per semester (total of 7 weeks), estimated 60 hours of laboratory teaching and/or evaluation total.
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date): 
September 8, 2026 to May 7, 2027
Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $8,838.51 (effective 2025/26)
