PhD in progress related to field
Prior Teaching Experience:

Previous experience teaching or tutoring at the post-secondary level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
• Demonstrated knowledge of programming using scripting languages (course is in Python); • Demonstrated ability to use and teach the following concepts: script design through multiple script files, integration and management of data from files and persistent storage, error handling in scripting languages; • Prior experience managing groups of learners; • The ability to evaluate student work and provide appropriate feedback to students regarding their work for both written and program based submissions; • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PhD and expert in course content
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.

Teaching experience at first or second year level in a college or university environment
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
• Demonstrated experience with all of the course material topic areas: script programming; software design and evaluation; leading discussion of case studies; evaluation of individual and group performance within a software project; • Experience teaching groupwork to students; • Experience in related industry; • Experience performing or teaching project management; • Experience using Agile methodologies.

Days and Times Required: 
Applicants should expect minimum 3 hours of lecturing on campus each week. Currently, lectures are scheduled from 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for the duration of the semester. Class details can be found on WebAdvisor.
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date):

Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $8,838.51 (effective 2025/26)
