Design teaching experience at University or College level is preferred.
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of professional experience with a focus on public space and community design projects, bringing a solid understanding of the theory and practice of community engagement, design process, planning policy, urban design, and social and cultural factors in design. Design studio teaching experience is considered an asset. The candidate should have a passion for community design, bring strong verbal and graphic communication skills and strong time management skills. An ability to support software training in AutoCAD, Adobe CS and 3D modelling software, through desk crits and tutorials is an asset.

Ontario Association of Landscape Architects Member or other professional membership (CSLA, ASLA, OPPI, etc) is preferred
