Other Duties Described: 
Ensure learning objectives are met (from Course Outline). Identify potential guest speakers based on themes of the course. There are four themes and multiple guest speakers throughout the semester. Oversee the organization of the talks (in consultation with the program Director) based on the course outline. Create/develop engaging activities for students in support of the four themes. Create detailed assessment based on the course outline and based on the three listed specializations). This position is responsible to ensure the course is engaging, relevant, and aligns with the MWB program. Liaise with students on a regular basis (e.g., weekly office hours, ad hoc meetings – virtual or in person, and meeting weekly with student groups to support and guide the activities post the guest-speaker session). Provide final assessments and grades.

PhD in progress related to field
PhD related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Excellent organizational skills. Demonstrated skills in communication and leadership to a diverse audience. Works closely with the Director of the MWB to ensure alignment with the MWB program and that course goals are met.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree: 
PhD related to field
PhD and expert in course content
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Research Experience: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in areas relevant to the course demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.
