The course is cross-listed with CLAS*3080 and the instructor will teach both. For CLAS*3080, the instructor will meet with a small group of under 10 students for an hour each week (time to be determined) to work on the course material in Ancient Greek. For CLAS*3080 the instructor has the option of meeting a minimum one hour per week with the small group of students, but a total of three hours per week must be supervised through meetings or other activities. *** Preparation and submission of Incomplete Coursework Form (ICF) for any student(s) who have not completed the final exam. In such cases a deferred exam (in hard copy as well as electronic format) should be provided to SOLAL’s Academic Program Assistant, Flora Laird at flaird@uoguelph.ca *** Familiarity with CourseLink technology for course management

Required Qualifications
Degree: 
Masters related to field
M.A. related to field (Latin and Ancient Greek Literature).
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Advanced knowledge of Ancient Greek. *** Advanced knowledge of Latin and Ancient Greek Literature.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. related to field (Latin and Ancient Greek Literature).
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level.
Experience and familiarity with the technology required to stage effective remote learning experiences.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Advanced knowledge of Ancient Greek. *** Research and publications related to Latin and Ancient Greek Literature.

remote teaching with classes scheduled for MWF 1:30pm-2:20pm
