Other Duties Described: 
• Attending meetings, as required. • Coordinating the Teaching Assistants for the course. • Attending meetings with students and be available for advising times. • Developing assignments and marking schemes. • Providing course materials and assignments to students. • Providing evaluations to student securely and confidentially. • Instructor must hold a face-to-face meeting with teaching assistants at the beginning and end of term. When not allowed by public health guidelines, these meetings may be supplemented with an online equivalent. • Instructor must be available to invigilate any on-campus examinations related to this course.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level

• Prior experience teaching a course similar to CIS*1000.DE
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
• Demonstrated ability teaching large class sizes. • Demonstrated ability teaching in an online setting. • Demonstrated experience with course content.
Preferred Qualifications

M.Sc. or Greater with Appropriate Experience in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
• Previous teaching experience in CIS*1000.DE will be considered an asset. • Demonstrated excellence related to teaching.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
Times required are anticipated to be primarily be centred around North American standard timezones when students are most active. This applies to other student-instructor interactions, such as office hours/meetings with the instructor, coordinating with teaching assistants, etc.; however, times will vary based on student activity.
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date): 
May 11, 2020 to August 27, 2020
Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $7,485.99 (effective 2020/21)
