Managing course content, scheduling and student grades through the use of UoGuelph on-line technologies including, at a minimum, Course Outline Manager and CourseLink platforms. Provide lectures and course exercises that provide an introduction to the role of the physical and graphic design professions and their contribution to our experience of the built, cultural and visual environments.

Masters related to field

A minimum of an MLA or MFA, or a BLA with a related masters degree or significant professional experience.
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Experience with basic design precedents and the design process mostly related to built form; experience with students, proven teaching ability.
Preferred Qualifications
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
The incumbent must have expertise in experience with visual awareness, design history, design elements in the environment, roles of designers and design as an applied process that responds to human needs.
