Successful teaching related to field at college or university level.
Minimum TA experience in similar course (or a course with similar learning outcomes)
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:
The candidate will be extremely familiar with the field of Environmental Engineering, including topics related to air, water and soil, and current environmental concerns and regulatory approaches (e.g., sustainability, climate change, remediation and restoration). The candidate should have a demonstrated understanding of the breadth of environmental engineering and a deep understanding of sustainability including environmental and social dimensions. They should have familiarity with legislation and approaches relevant to the field (especially in Canada). They should have experience with instruments and other tools used in both lab and field work. Experience in teaching and assessment of competencies beyond knowledge base such as communication, teamwork and lifelong learning.
