Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Degree: 
PhD related to field
Must have a PhD or equivalent in cardiac science (eg. cardiology, cardiac physiology, cardiac pathophysiology, biomedical engineering).
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Teaching experience in cardiac physiology and pathophysiology at a university level required.
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with students of varying backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree: 
PhD and expert in course content
Research Experience: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in related field demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in problem based learning.
Days Required and Wages
Days and Times Required: 
Lectures Tuesday and Thursday 4-5:30 pm plus office hours, prep time, etc.
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date): 
January 3, 2024 to April 26, 2024
Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $7,758.48 (effective 2022/23)
