Other Course Description or Assignment Information: 
Hybrid course delivery. PSYC7080 is a project based experiential learning course that functions externally as a consulting group. The course instructor will source consulting projects from paying clients and lead the graduate students in designing and delivering consulting projects in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. The course content will vary each semester depending on the consulting projects that have been secured in the prior semester. In addition to the duties to teach and develop the students with respect to core consulting skills, the instructor will need to manage client relationships, deliver presentations and training, support the project teams by solving problems, securing resources, or managing team issues.

Degree: 
PhD in progress related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Consulting leadership skills, Client relationship management skills, Change management expertise Project management skills, Team leadership and conflict management skills Research skills (information seeking and application of I-O theory and research to practical problems) Problem solving skills Presentation skills Coaching skills Professionalism

Class time is flexible. Hours as required to complete all duties (average 12-15 hour week total).
