- This course examines contemporary research methods employed in business. Emphasis is placed on understanding the process of business research and how it relates to theory development, problem investigation, and management questions. Qualitative and quantitative techniques and applications are discussed. Other topics include ethics and politics of research, the nature of causation, conceptualization, measurement, development of hypotheses, data description, statistical analysis, sampling techniques, and preparation of case studies. Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level

Sound grasp of the principles and applications of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to solve business problems

Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Research Experience: 
Quality and or Recent Research activity in areas relevant to the course demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.
