PSYC*4210-This course is an opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience in carrying out a piece of psychological research. In this first of these two thesis courses, the focus will be on defining a research question, conducting a comprehensive review of the relevant literature and designing a research study in Psychology. Under the supervision of a faculty member, the student will develop a research proposal and make a formal PowerPoint presentation describing their proposal to the class.
PSYC*4220-This course focuses on implementing the research proposed in Thesis I. Under the supervision of a faculty member, individual students conduct an approved study in the proposed setting, analyze the data collected, report on the research in a formal presentation and write a thesis paper.
