Required Qualifications
Degree: 
Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Engineering. Successful completion of ENGG*1100 or equivalent course during an engineering undergraduate or graduate degree or demonstrated teaching experience in an equivalent course.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree: 
PhD in progress related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level.
Minimum TA experience in similar course (or a course with similar learning outcomes)
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
The candidate will be extremely familiar with the field of Engineering Design, including topics related to the development and communication of engineering solutions using graphical, oral and written means. The candidate should have a demonstrated understanding of computer-aided drafting, spreadsheets and other tools used in engineering design problems. They should also have familiarity with the practice of professional engineering and the role of ethics in engineering. Experience teaching in a team environment is also an asset for this role.

LEC: M/F 9:30 AM - 10:20 AM M/W 2:30 PM - 3:20 PM M/F 12:30 PM - 1:20 PM

Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $8,838.51 (effective 2025/26)
