Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Degree: 
Masters related to field
OR postgrad diploma and extensive professional geomatics experience
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
and mentoring related to contents of the course
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
In-depth understanding of the theory and techniques of GIS and spatial analysis. Demonstrated competence in ArcGIS Pro and QGIS software specifically.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree: 
PhD and expert in course content
Other
Diploma in Geomatics/GIS
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Record of success in engaging students with core topics in this field through lectures and hands on learning, ability to expose students to real world applications.

Lecture - Tuesdays/Thursdays 5:30 PM - 6:50 PM (Tentative) Labs monitored by Teaching Assistants(TAs)- Wednesday 2:30 PM - 5:20 PM, Monday 2:30 PM - 5:20 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM - 11:20 AM
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date): 
January 2, 2026 to April 28, 2026
Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $8,838.51 (effective 2025/26)
